Trattore Celebrates Eat Outside Day at Our Apple Farm

The perfect day to spend outside

At Trattore, we love spending time outdoors, including working on our apple farm, Bellevue Orchard. We also think there is no better day to spend outdoors than Eat Outside Day which is coming up on Thursday August 31st 2023.

Eat Outside Day encourages you to taste the sunshine (or moonlight) whilst picnicking with your family. This occasion offers a slice of bliss a bit like a mini staycation, allowing you to recharge and rejuvenate while indulging in good food and apple ciders out with nature.

We have you sorted for undercover dining and cider options here at Bellevue Orchard, our working apple farm. Situated amongst apple trees with ample room for friends to enjoy the day. You can relish a day under the sun, or if the weather takes an unexpected turn, we have plenty of seating options available undercover.

We want to share with you our two favourite options on Eat Outside Day:

Alfresco Dining

We know what you’re wondering why now in this cold? But there are still ways to enjoy a fun day out in winter if you’re dressed for the cold weather. It’s as simple as taking your dining experience outdoors – just bring your plates to a balcony, porch, or patio. Giving you a feel of picnic while allowing you to relish your meal and enjoy the views, all while staying comfortably warm.

If you’re feeling like having the food and drinks prepared for you, why not head to the perfect location for Eat Outside Day here at our apple farm.

The café at our apple farm is bustling with life, and it’s the perfect spot for you and your friends to sample the delights from our food trucks – pizzas, gourmet pies and other seasonal favourites. Not to mention, we proudly feature our collection of boutique crafted Trattore Ciders. From the crisp Traditional New World Cider to the bold Earthen Pear, we offer a selection of flavours to suit every palette. Our apple farm is the ideal spot for enjoying a day out with friends.

Bring a Blanket (or two)

If you’re organising your own picnic outside, don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket to sit on, and perhaps even a blanket to keep you warm. Nothing beats being wrapped up in a cosy blanket on a cold winter’s day. Another great tip is to pack a waterproof layer to lay down first, to stop the chills from rising through the ground and it’ll also prevent your woolly blanket from getting wet or muddy.

Plus, having your own picnic gives you the freedom to pack your own snacks and drinks. But don’t miss out on our Trattore ciders for your picnic experience, whether at home or outdoors. And if you opt for an outdoor setting, please remember to drink responsibly.

Whatever your plans may be, we’d love for you to join us for Eat Outside Day at Bellevue!
